My name is Nina, I'm the girl in the video. I wasn't able to be as eloquent as I wanted in the interview due to nerves but I'd like to write here what I should've said.
I became an ARMY in April 2017, about 2 months after Not Today was released. Since the start, BTS' message has been of great importance to me. Not only their positivity, but the fact that they've inspired me like no other.
As an artist I was becoming stagnant. My artist's blocks were becoming more frequent and longer. But, thanks to BTS, I was able to embrace what I loved and came to rely on it the same way that I'm sure the member's rely on their music or dance. I drew Yeontan because I knew that Taehyung cares about his pets, family and friends. Since I've been Tae biased from the beginning, I've always wanted to do something for him (the rest of BTS too but more so with Tae). I would love to give this drawing of something that's truely precious to Taehyung to the man himself, however, I don't know how. It would give me a chance to give something back to him.
As I said in the video, I started dealing with panic and anxiety issues. I would have severe panic attacks over my family life, extreme low self-esteem and stress because of school. But BTS, their music, their laughter, their smiles, has helped me time and time again. I haven't had a panic attack now for months, and even then: Magic Shop prevented it from damaging me.
I love BTS with my whole being, they bring so much light into my life. I was honoured to be interviewed by the BBC and I'm grateful that I was given the chance to see BTS live in London.
If you've read this far, thank you
