i laugh at this part of the manual trans pros " not everyone can drive" which is true 😂

I won't lie. I feel if people watched one video like this a day instead of most of the nonsense out there the world would function alot smoother.

This is the best and clear explanation of car engine

Nice . I thought before that the transmission is only two kinds , the AT and the MT .

As someone who lives and will die driving manual, I don't think I could get into using a shifter without a clutch pedal. I would freak out at the thought of gear grinding.

thanks a lot man, i always wanted to learn about engines and wish to work in the automotive sector, your videos have been really helpful dude, thanks a lot, keep it up

This is absolutely gold! Thank you so much. This is the most detailed explanation I've certainly come across. Even thought I wish they had the graphics downloadable....and lo and behold it's in the description. Thank you again

I prefer the shaft system despite its cost and its higher weight because it is the most reliable and the most robust and its requires a a clean and minimum maintenance. I have it on my Honda VFR 1200 and I am able to compare it with the chain drive present on my previous VFR 800. Very nice video with a relevant analysis of the characteristics of each transmission system. Many thanks.

As a new car repair DIY guy, this is gold. Thank you!

this is what I've been looking for, I've learned so much in just a few minutes of video than a whole instruction manual
273
I have owned all 3. No checking belts for cracks, or oiling chains and buying new ones, the shaft drive is perfect.

You guys are doing a really great job,you should keep on making content that discusses extensively everything related to automobiles. Absolutely love it.

If you want consistent acceleration then the drive shaft is the way to go. If you want more power then a chain is better, but it does not behave the same each time you accelerate. Chains are more fun and less predictable than drive shafts.

The Government of India is actually planning to invest in Hydrogen Cars over EV....Hence Indian manufacturers like TATA and Mahindra are not yet entering the EV market in full scale ...

Excellent presentation. I particularly like the way how the explanations are reinforced with the two types of graphics. It does bring across the lesson on engine layout & configuration and make learning easier for my students. I appreciate it, thanks a lot.

There are only very few YouTube videos that show the details of how car systems work in detail. And yours is the best of them all. Keep up this good quality content.
85
The quantity of research you do to make a video is highly appreciated....
78
Wow, never new shaft drives waste 25% of power (sounds high) and belts 10%. Clearly, chain is the winner re performance and cost, but you pay for the maintenance, but its not bad if its a road bike.
77
I love cars so much, that's why I am a motor vehicle technician by profession,I hope I get mine soon
72
Great work ! Would love to know more about the engineering behind EVs , especially FCEVs.
69
What a explanation 😮. Even a common man can become a mechanic by watching your video. ❤️❤️❤️
63
Enjoyed that discussion. I would appreciated videos on the other possible configurations for piston engines and Don't forget opposed and deltaic engines!
61
Sadly we are going to see a lot of single motor vehicles before manufacturers start bringing down the cost of true four motor AWD unless its done under a government regulatory mandate.
57
can you make a video explaining everything that makes a car. Your videos are amazing and help people like me learn.
54
Well done, thanks for making suspension easier to understand. The video was very detailed (if a little disorganised in places). This presentation would really step up a class with the addition of 2 concepts in the English language: - the definite and indefinite article needs to be added (“the” & “a”). Example: “the tyre” for a specific tyre, “a tyre” for any tyre. - plurals: most English words add an “S” at the end when referring to multiples. Example: “cats” is plural, “cat” is singular. However some words are both plural and singular. Example “sheep” or “fruit”. English is hard - but I really appreciate you translating so I can understand your video.

This Is literally my 10th time rewatching this video this week,I just can’t get enough of it and want to understand it even more
48
I`m glad I found this video on YouTube, as a man I feel like I should know my way around the car and more specifically the engine and how it works. Thank you @The Engineers Post
46
very glad theres something on the internet that lets the non-inclined and younger generation understand how engines even work! No more wasting money on getting a shop to do an oil change, or a water pump replacement & so-on.

The boxer 8 is now my favorite engine for the noise. I fell in love with the flat engine configuration when I bought my 2022 BRZ, it sounds really nice and it feels responsive
38
Ok now that I have watched this. If anybody’s friends or family need engine work let me know I’m a mechanic 👨🔧
37
Man I wish I had one of those transmissions for my everyday car.
36
Knowing about suspension system is good. I never knew my car really do this much of work 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😅. Its very informative video ❤️❤️❤️
34
Keep up the good work! Your video will definitely help a lot of people understand the basics of an engine.
33
I'm a commerce student but I still enjoy watching engine related stuff
33
The video is very useful and informative, if you could add real world applications to each types it would be great.
31
This was amazing and really informational. Thank you for this video and for providing a downloadable PDF version. Excellent content.
30
You are not being watched as much as you deserve but I think you are really good at explaining these topic , thanks keep up with good work

Luv this kind of stuff,,,, very helpfully informative & enlightening. Really, it is a must for motor vehicle owners in knowing that vehicle. Keep up your good work.👍✔️
28
An additional advantage of chain / belt drive is that it cushions shock loading from the engine / transmission during hard acceleration.
28
this is EXACTLY the video I wanted to come up!!.. I typed "how does a car engine work".... and they were mostly 5 -8 videos... I'd go longer, but hey, this video tales me to the next level based on current understanding... Thank you!!.
28
Don't knock Automatic transmission cars you might be grateful to have one when you get old and your joints wear out and hurt.
25
found these videos really helpful, thankyou!
21
So nicely said about Transmission... Love your thoughts on this topic. Keep up the good work ❣️❣️
18
This is extremely helpful and clear.
17
I love those kinds of videos about cars... keep 'em coming guys, nice job.
17
Finally we got your video on Sequential Transmission. Thanks ❤️❤️❤️ Really a great video for beginners 😊
15
It is veey good...more effective than teachers....
15
One thing missed about manual transmission: you get best control to your car and best driving feel to the car and road than others.
14
Hey all your videos are very nice and i am learning more day by day because you are making such informative videos. Thanks keep it up ♥️🙏
