Really sad and heartbreaking. None of us can imagine the pressure and pain they were going through.
I really hope that the korean government takes notice and hears the voices of these teachers and makes laws that protect those who are trying to educate koreas youth.
Unfortunately, I don't think anything will change, apparently the country is split in opinion on the matter, and with the government already threatening the teachers that are currently protesting, I don't think that they will capitulate.
Money talks in korea, and the wealthy parents of badly behaved children will want things to continue as they are, but that spells trouble for the future of korean society, in a society where people have been taught that it doesn't matter how badly you treat people, even if you push them to the point of wanting to end it, it doesn't matter as long as you are rich and your family is influential.
There may be some very dark times ahead for korean society if the government does nothing right now, to protect the levels of mutual respect and compassion for each other in society.

For any county, if your focus remains on people having children simply for the sake of keeping human civilization going, the birth rates will keep dropping. At the core the only solution is to focus on a society that is more fair and prosperous for all. One that is more safe and free from judgements. In every developed country, every life style choice, even the "right" ones, come with undo pressure and judgement. Everything works to make a person feel they aren't doing enough or aren't doing it "right". If money was the main issue, the wealthy would be having scores of children, but that's never the case. It isn't money and the human race surviving obviously isn't an incentive either. People want to be happy. Curate environments where happiness is the standard and you'll never have to shame, coerce, fear, or otherwise bribe people into having children.

As a teacher in Korea myself, what is considered abuse these days is so extreme. It's making children's emotions fragile and will lead to issues with coping as adults for these children. In turn, society in general will be even weaker and these children will have a lot of mental health issues and lack of confidence as adults when they realize they can't get what they want in life for just participating, and that they can't always be or do what they want.
Students need to be taught at a young age that their actions and behavior have consequences, and that even if they try their best they still might fail but will be better off for learning from their failures.
I believe many of the issues in Korean society will be worse for the future generations because of the sense of coddling them, lack of disciplining, as well as interpreting sound behavioral training techniques as forms of emotional abuse. These issues include the low marriage rate, lowest birth rate in the world, and high suicide rate amongst young adults. If you train a society to not discipline and overly call every form of discipline as abusive, you will get children who grow into adults but still remain as children emotionally and in mental health. It's breeding a society of fragility, and that's not really great when you have a conscription mandate for your country still.

So happy the tradition of the Red Devils fans gathering in one place in SK was able to continue with what looked to be a great success without anyone getting injured, planning ahead and having setup boundaries in the open and plenty of security, any mass gathering should be taken into consideration and dealt with this way and hope no more tragedies ever happen again to all the citizens, especially the youth of SK, I hope all those who died in Itaewon wonโt have died in vain, that they have learned, unfortunately at a horrible tragic expense ANDโฆโฆโฆโฆโฆ
LETโS GO Red Devils ( or Taegeuk Warriors )
Even though Iโm a Native American, I have come to love so much of the Korean Culture, seeing the support of everyone gathering in one large place on a cold night is heart warming to see, so I do hope you win the World Cup this year, if not you 1st, then the USA team ๐๐ซฐ๐ผ๐
Thank you to Korea now for the footage !

Thank you for providing informative videos. I am an educator at Myongji University. From August 8th to August 12th, 2023, participants from 8 countries - Germany, Papua New Guinea, Montenegro, Guatemala, Namibia, and more - totaling 1365 individuals, visited Myongji University. They have been spending busy days enjoying delicious meals and watching performances at the chapel. We conveyed to them to leave behind the 'difficult and negative memories' and take back 'happy and joyful memories' to their home countries. Despite heavy rain, seeing them play in the water without umbrellas was incredibly adorable.
As an educator, it's regrettable that I couldn't leave them with even better memories, but I'm relieved to hear that their memories of Myongji University are positive. The German members will head to Busan on the 12th for the rest of their journey. I earnestly hope they will visit Korea again someday.

School bullying has shown to have horrific consequences for students who become victims of bullying , there is many who have suffered through bullying becoming perpetrators of violence like school shootings and/ or suicide incidents,.
the school staff must be educated and prepared for any eventuality, help the students to understand their situation, do something about it, it doesnโt happen to just one student, it happens to hundreds, there must be some accountability, for the parents who allow violence at home bullies are like that because theyโre used to violence and bullying , we must educate our children to become good human beings to respect , to hate violence, the world has so much violence going on, it doesnโt need more of it, it needs too change but it wonโt change by many, we all have to cooperate.

I have a 15 year old son and I tell him, remind him verily, never get in any gang or target anyone, or be involved in anyway in bullying others. He has a right to defend himself from others but never uses his will to subdue anyone for his personal gain and feed his ego. I would literally fly to the country where hes at and kick his ass infront of everyone myself.
Bullying can maked one feel worthless and not human and it can have life long scars that many who went through it, will never heal from...I also was a victim of bullying, it wasnt so bad...well physically....but mentally I was scared to even go to school back then, honestly I really dont even remember those people anymore, but the way how it makes one feel, its a feeling of worthlessness one will mostly never get over.....and from what shown and known, S.Korean bullying is on a different extreme level, so just imagine the victims state of mind.
This poor soul, it hunts her until she had no choice than to give up on her very life...its so sad...and may she RIP.... what is S.Korea doing to address this serious issue within their society??? Its not the only country where it happens but at this point its like its apart of the country's culture or something....No wonder their birthrates are so low....smh....this is another major issue that needs to be addressed and serious consequences to violators be implemented.

America is no different. Students here are becoming more bold, uncivilized, and self-centered these days. A lot of American students don't care about education, so teachers have to deal with their misbehavior more than teaching them. There is a teacher shortage in America right now and I believe soon there won't be any teachers left and these kids will turn against them like mobs. The world is crumbling right in front of our eyes.
The Bible says,
"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."
2 Timothy 3:1-5 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995
May God reveal His loving kindness to you and renew your heart and bring you to Jesus. Deny yourself and seek His face. Take care, everyone

tipping works like this in the u.s. - it is actually called "gratuity" - which comes from the word "gratitude" - when you want to show someone your gratitude for a job well done or thank them for extra special personal service, that is done through a tip or "gratuity" - you can decide to pay it or not - usually, unless you are dining with a large party or some other restriction where 'gratuity' is automatically added to you bill (in that case you do not have to tip again) - many waiters and waitresses make less than the minimum wage per hour still here in the u.s. - some are still making less than $3 per hour, so the tips help them make a living (i do not think that should be fair though - they should make minimum wage at least) - other times, when it is in good taste to tip in the u.s., is if anyone offers you a personal service, obviously if you're dining out, servers, bartenders, but if you go to the salon, your hairdresser, any assistants or shampoo techs, mani/pedi nail techs, the air conditioning guy fixed my a/c for free the other day (personal service) so i tipped him - you can see how it goes....it depends on what you are accustomed to, i grew up this way and it seems normal to me - and also, it feels good to give (some of us even brag about being BIG tippers vs cheap tippers!! haha - i'm a BIG tipper!) - i know that by blessing others, God will bless me in return one day when I need it - but if that is not your culture, i can see why it's a feeling of forced giving suddenly, and no one wants to be forced into a new way of living - i hope things begin to work out for everyone in S. Korea...all of the beautiful people...stay blessed....
