I typically tip, not for exceptional service, but to avoid spitting on my food.

I hate it when I give a generous tip and I don't get a Thank You. Now I wait till the end of transactions.

There are 10 million vacant trade skills jobs, most of which will pay while newbies learn on the job. None of these jobs require a college degree and the median salary is $24/hr ($50k/year).

I try to avoid tipping as much as possible. The way I see it, nobody is tipping me for doing my job, so why should I? I am sorry for those in the industry, but, again, I see no reason to tip you doing your job.

Tipping sucks, and it should be abolished as it is in most other places, refusing to tip in a society designed for it sucks way more, refusing to tip is just class treachory in this environment. Talk to the owners of your local businesses and your legislature and start a movement, refuse to dine out except at places that ban tipping if you feel strongly about it, but refusing to tip on an individual level is just shitty and selfish and exploiting poorly paid workers subsidized by artifically low food prices.

To add to your comment on "tips are built into the service charge in Europe": here, most places include a service charge of about 15-20%, and that is in addition to the prices seen on the menu. So whenever I sit down at a restaurant, I have to search for the percentage somewhere with small letters, then start adding this percentage to all the prices I see. If this wasn't bad enough, most places also expect a tip above this. Whenever there is a service charge, I never ever tip, and I get so many bad looks.

I tip.. I used to be a "Big" tipper. i.e. I rounded up from 20%... Now it looks like I am a scrooge... But then came uber and all its variants... Lots of scams in play.

Great video. Overall, I will say this being president and running the country is challenging. Obama did everything he could despite few Democrats and all Republicans trying to block him. I'm sure Obama made a few mistakes

@EconomicCircuit idk how to source the info well, but I just look around in life and say hmmmm.

In these ride hailing apps the drivers will ask for extra because these apps give extermely low comminsions to the drivers & its true. What is a usually nearly 4km rickshaw ride cost 85 on these app but driver asks 115. They wont even budge for 100. The Cherry on Top is these apps charge cancellation fees of 40% - 50%
