Congratulations on the Webby! Well deserved.

Iโm so glad this is a thing. Two delightful presenters who have good pod-chemistry together. ๐
81
Not British, but do I show up and pretend I know what/who they're talking about? Absolutely I do. And I enjoy EVERY second of it.
74
Just love your show! I'm going through a very rough patch at the moment and this cheered me up and made me feel less alone. Thanks so much.

I am thrilled that PStW has won a Webby! I voted for you. I love this podcast. There is nothing else with such a wide scope and nuanced take. I am excited to see you grow and expand. It will be well deserved.

As an Aussie I was super sad to see Jacinda step down ๐ She was a wonderful leader for democracy and women everywhere. When Christchurch happened I remember feeling ashamed that a country I love, with NZ neighbours (that I also love), could export someone so evil and deranged. It shocked me to my core. Jacindas words of people and community, and coming together to fight against the individuals that are evil (instead of blaming a race or religion or country) I found both comforting and inspiring. I understand she got a lot of hate online, but I believe that would be from the loud minority. I think she would always put her family first if that hate spilled into their lives.

Need more of these foreign policy 101 from Ben Explaining terms and probably take us through how exactly decisions are made at the highest level in this regard
42
Love that there's a UK show now. I know it's early days, but I really hope they get some voices from around the UK.
42
Already 4k subscribers on the first day. Woohoo! Best world news analysis on YouTube.
31
Pod saves the world and pod save the UK are the best โคโคโคโคโคโคโคโค thank you for your work

Nish you are a national treasure mate - good not to feed the trolls ๐๐

FINALLY some REPSECT! ;) Happy to see the prodcasr grow and become it's own thing.
28
Do I watch succession? No. Have I followed along with the Pod summary and review of this series? Absolutely
27
Such an amazing interview, the scenes from Iran have been incredibly powerful and the bravery that the people there are showing is inspiring.
26
You two are so fun. Your guest tonight was greatโฆwe have some wacky protest laws in the states, too. Oddly (or ironically) the most severe and wacky laws are created by the very people who simultaneously yellโฆfreedom! ๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ
26
Such a great and thoughtful interview! I'll definetly have to check out Maria's other talks.
25
I appreciate you two gentlemen so much. Thank you for all that you do. ๐
24
So glad to always hear your point of insight and analysis.
23
I just want to thank Ben and Tommy for informative discussions of current topics and insightful interviews (like in this episode.) My perspective is always broadened. PSW is one of my favorite podcasts.
22
Any chance the pod could get an interview with Jacinda Ardern

Fonts have a pretty rich history in culture wars, during Nazi germany especially. Basically, the removal of serifs were associated with the burgeoning modernist/bauhaus movements of the Weimar era which removed all the fancy extras in all areas of art and design because they were associated narratives of class oppression. obvs the Nazis hated this because they relied on nostalgia for an idealised hierarchical past and were super threatened everything associated with modern art calling it 'degenerate' and anti german. This is why so many of the Nazi fonts, in particular Fraktur (used for Mein Kampf), were super gothic. Serifs are super political and have a very interesting history. As someone with dyslexia, I can confirm that Calibri is easiest to read. Great pod as per!
22
The closed captioning mistook Ben saying Ron DeSantis as "Rhonda Sanders" and that is my new favorite name for him.
22
Good job on finally diversifying your content to individual channels. You gotta play the YG (YouTube Game) to be successful on this platform.
21
Thank you Tommy and Ben โค you guys are the best!!!!!!!!!
21
The insider stories are why I love The Pod. The fact that y'all can give us insight into why the press sec responds the way she does makes complete sense... "the lawyers won't allow us to say we're at war because Congress hasn't declared war." That's not something the average viewer thinks about when they see a clip on the news. Keep up the great work.
21
You guys, I love all of the Crooked pods. Theyโre informational and important, but I loved Benโs rant about TSA pre-check ๐ I hope he gets the assistance he needs. Security lines suck.
20
To the Crooked production team: Tommyโs balloon voice prompted me to pause the podcast and open this up on YouTube (watching an ad in the process). +1 for engagement.
20
One of the best interviews Crooked has done to date! Not only was the information excellent and moving, but Tommy didn't interrupt her like some people would have. Well done and God bless this situation. ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ
19
This is fantastic news. I thoroughly enjoy the conversations between Tommy, Ben and their guests.
18
I literally choked on my water when Tommy started with the helium ๐
18
๐ congrats!
17
I don't know what's more terrifying, the underwear Tom Brady pic or the fact that Tommy on helium sounds exactly like Ben Shapiro. Thanks for traumatizing me in the first 2 minutes of the pod guys
17
Great interview, Ben. I've put Maria Ressa's book on my reading list. It would be even more compelling to hear her narrate the book. I'll have to check that out to see if indeed she does.
17
Y'all provide the most intelligent, respectful, fair and balanced foreign policy info. Well deserved Webby.
16
Love this new tradition to have Alyona on set โคโคโค
16
The nerdiness is why I am here!
15
I love how Ben is just like โya Iโm texting my friend Samantha Powerโ
15
The subscriber numbers doubled since yesterday! Nice!
14
Excellent, helpful interview. Thank you, Wally Adeyemo, and keep up the good work, guys.
14
Inspite the solemn topic the dynamic between you two is superb. a joy to listen to
14
Congratulations on you Webb! Moving up in the world! ๐
13
Hey new channel! Realized today that you two guys represent what it means to be a man, a good man. Fortitude, honesty and a type of courage that fights for goodness. Thanks for that โค๏ธ๐บ๐ฒโค๏ธ๐ค ๐ต
13
The pod gets its own dedicated channel, and the football talk returnsโฆ Coincidence? I think not! (donโt mind me. just an over-sensitive eagles fan here. i appreciate yโall.)
13
Another great show. Loved the interview, you all always have the most interesting guests. ๐โ๏ธ๐ PS, one day in the future, your daughter will be listening to this pod, and sheโll be so happy to learn that at 3 months she had become more sturdy. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ #DadSpeak
13
Thank you guys for the pod โค I really love to listen your conversations and great insights to world politics. I do have Netflix ,HBO and disney channels but I am still here ๐ Your pod is best content ever! Greetings from Finland โค๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ธ๐ช๐บ๐ฌ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ

I think I remember last time Samantha Power was on the show. She always makes great points
12
My favorite podcast โค thank you for work you guys do!
12
Loved the show and particularly enjoyed the interview. Please have Mr. Adeyemo on again soon - he is so impressive!
