Classical/traditional architectural styles in the United States still exist in the many cities and towns of the East Coast north of Florida, and in the city of Chicago, but is increasingly uncommon everywhere else in the United States. And unlike all the boxy or cube-shaped urban-located buildings commonly associated with modern architecture, itβs usually office parks, strip malls, warehouses, grade schools which take much more space than they normally should, and cookie-cutter tract homes. Sometimes, you will see buildings that look traditionally-designed, but are designed in a way that heavily favors automobiles over pedestrians, which leads to a lot of places that genuinely feel artificial and unnatural despite having a traditionally-designed facade.
