Man I feel so over dressed when I pick up my kids. I'm in shorts, a t-shirt, and a .40 cal strapped to my side, or if I'm feeling spicy my Ruger 57. But then again I'm also a man, so I'm not some thirsty "rooster" hungry woman looking for attention. As far as step parents, I was around 2 or 3 when my step mother married my dad. However, she is my mother. I don't know the woman that gave birth to me, and I don't give a flying fuck. My mother is the woman who raised me. Was there for me when I was hurt. Praised me when I did good. And she was extremely prideful when I enlisted into the Air Force. I talk to her weekly, I talk to my half sister weekly. My sister lives in CA, my step mom in AZ, and I'm comfortably retired (rather young, at the age of 33, and I'm 38 now). I'm so glad that me and my wife didn't meet on some bullshit dating site, app or whatever. She was in the Air Force as well. Granted I outranked her, and some people were eyeing me sideways about that, but being what I was in the TRF, they really couldn't say much to me. They knew who I was, they knew my squad, and what we were capable of. We've been married for 18 years, and have many many more years to go. We have 3 kids, and laugh at people who are like this. Single, looking to date, and willing to take any "rooster" that comes their way.
