  15. My Great-Grandfather faked his age to go to the Trenches. Fought in the Somme, as well as German South-West Africa, came back to France to start a family - then went back in 1939 to do it again, this time as a Lt. Col. in Artillery, where he fought in North Africa.

He was a saloon keeper in Tucson from 1874-1877 and witnessed many famous events during that time.
