  10. I lived and worked in China for six years until July last year. I fell in love with China. I studied its history, talked to the people, enjoyed the food, immersed myself in the culture, tried to learn some of the language, visited many places, and married a Chinese wife. Since coming back to Australia, I get upset and defensive of China when I read and hear the negativity among so many people, including politicians, and the biased reporting by the media, against China. When I try to defend China, or say positive things about the country, I often get told I have been brainwashed, or that I can't like China and be a loyal Australian. I get the "whataboutism" - What about the persecution of Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang? What about the Chinese government using Falun Gong practitioners for organ transplants and forced abortions? What about the monitoring of all the people by surveillance cameras for the social credit scheme? What about China destroying the One Country, Two Systems policy in Hong Kong? And so on, and so on. So these days I just bottle up my feelings and opinions and don't say much at all. And I feel bad about that, because there is so much about China, what it is really like, my experiences there, that I want to share. But you can give people the facts until you are blue in the face and they will continue to believe what they want to believe, or in other words, what they have been "brainwashed" to believe by the media and politicians. And when those people are often your own family, it makes it even harder to bear.

America has strangled the Cuban economy for the last 40+ years, and that couldn't break them, and America has sponsored the worst and bloodiest election in Jamaican history, by giving the opposition guns, because the other side were close to Cuba. America has done nothing but brain drain my country, and explore it for cheap labor, now I can proudly say that China has been building much needed infrastructure in our country, and its a good look. America actually took notice as to what has been happening, and wanted to make their presence felt, so they sent an admiral of the navy to deliver their message.   32. I'm German born just after the end of WW2 and I also have seen the US Military more as an occupier and not a friend . I have served the German Army in 1983 due to drafting - not volontary. However, even in the German military they were a few voices who didn't like the US being in Germany. The French had left, the Brit's took their time to leave but in the end they did. Only the USA is still in Germany. One reason is that they NEED this Base in Ramstein as staging ground for other operations. There is nothing against haveing a freindly Relationchip with the USA and many buisness is conducted between the 2, but the military should leave. The current Conflict in Ukraine began in 2014 and was initiated by the USA with the aim to use this country as a staging ground to prepare for war with Russia. The aim of the USA is to break up Russia in many smaller States, up to 200, and then take over or at least create influence by giving them aid to develop in exchange for natural resources. It's those natural resources the USA is after. Greed and Arroganz are bad Advisors and in the end the USA will loose their grip on all of Europe.

  33. Well said, I remember when living in Shanghai thinking that at least USA has free press, after moving home I see widespread manipulation of the press and disinformation. It has been eye opening. Very difficult to explain this subject to my American friends and family. Most only see it through the point of view of the Republican vs Democratic messaging, they don’t see the pervasive anti China narrative being promulgated through the main stream and social media’s. But most people have never lived more than 25 miles from where they were born, I can understand why they remain in this bubble. Too bad, but keep up the good work 👍

We were educated in the past from our government to against CCP ; however, after being living in China from time to time I see China is doing the right thing for their people at least trying to build more middle class families. But if you look at the West what exactly have been happening to their people? Lot of homeless, drugs and poor. Western countries only use “ Democracy “ to cover the truth of their failure. Politicians only trying to load up money in their pockets. Why no one question them are they really working for people and helping people? Sadly the answer is “no”, in fact for Taiwan and China issues American is just brewing bigger “War” ahead. I am sorry that being Taiwanese, I don’t hate Americans but I do hate Americans government and look at what disaster they have created for many countries and causing many refugees.   49. As a Russian I can verify everything you said from a perspective of an average citizen. Those who remember the 90s take everything the US says with a bucketful of salt. The irony is that we started to forget and a new generation of adults appeared who haven't witnessed those dark and desperate years. That's why Navalnyi managed to get that much support from the younger generation. But after February 22 when they'd seen all that hatred generously poured on every single Russian no matter what their political views were many of them drastically changed their mind. During the last two years the West has actually done an outstanding job to make the Russians support Putin. Lots of us changed our opinions from "Why the f* they've decided to invade?!" to "Oh, that's why! Go get 'em!"
