Вечером накануне экзамена по русскому языку наткнулся на канал Константина, последнее видео было как раз про Дэниела, и оно произвело на меня неизгладимое впечатление. Утром прихожу на экзамен, и мне попадается тема для сочинения о том, что природа способна лечить раны больной души. Разумеется, я сразу же пересказал историю Дэна, по-моему лучшего примера и не придумать. Have never been to Russia, but after watching this video and learning/watching other stuff about Russia even before that, i have to say a lot of the local habits of the common people are very similar in Poland. I myself come from a small polish town, where it looks very similar. People mind their own business, there is local exchange based trade, everything is very peaceful.I love watching such vids, because it shows that common people are not that different from each other. Sending greetings to the russian people from a polish guy.

И решение переехать в Россию по религиозным соображениям и несогласием с пропагандой ЛГБТ - этот факт говорит сам за себя.   16. I'm Brazilian and I'm also a student of Russian culture. I can say that Russia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, with unparalleled literature. I really like Tolstoy, Dostoevsky and Chekhov. I also say that Russia has some cities that are better than cities in America, such as Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Kazan. These Russian cities are clean and organized! 🇧🇷❤🇷🇺

  17. As a pilot of Boeing jets, I sadly agree the US civil aircraft industry is in a bad state. That being said, the MS-21 was supposed to use the Pratt and Whitney Geared turbofan. One area that Russia has never been able to compete with American aircraft is the quality and longevity of aircraft engines. I’m interested to see what happens going forward. Of course I wish success to every civil aviation manufacturer, Boeing, airbus, and yes even Yakovlev! When quality products hit the market, everybody benefits.

  19. Я уехала в Россию из Донбасса ещё в 2014 г. - украинская армия начала бомбить мой город , я осталась практически бомжом ! Приехала с двумя чемоданами и небольшие сбережения ( 5 т. долларов ) . Мне Россия на тот момент ничего не могла дать -они вообще не знали что с нами делать . Слава Богу у меня есть в России родня - первое время они мне помогли освоиться , спасибо им ! За эти не полных 9 лет я успела взять квартиру двухкомнатную в ипотеку , и уже погасила ))) Теперь я живу спокойно , без долгов банку ! Конечно переживаю за наших воинов и мирных жителей ! Господи , поскорей бы наступил Мир , и наши ребята вернулись домой к семьям ! Всем Мира и Добра !!!

I can verify that it was, as you report, called the "Caspian Sea Monster" and we had it pegged as a "WIG", or "Wing In Ground-effect" vehicle. Made for fascinating reading. I was about his age his age and it felt EXACTLY like that. It is universal, this feeling while in the army, no matter who you are and on which side you fight. I wanted to do a comparison of prices between your supermarkets (a country in war and under sanctions) with mine (a country in the Eurozone and a member of the different versions of EU since 1980). I understand that your supermarket was a rather posh one, so I will compare with one of our normal local chains, not discount supermarkets like Lidl etc. I wish you could be more detailed in your shopping list at the end, referencing weights and possibly the status of each brand in the market (cheap, regular, expensive, crazy expensive). I tried to do my best to match your list, where it was not possible i noted the alternative product or quantity available here. Ι used regular brands not private label ones. Fresh Milk 1lt = 1.71 eggs (six regular) = 1.86 Lentils 500gr = 1,63 (Backwheat is kinda exotic here so I replaced it with something as common in the Greek market. FYI 500gr of Backwheat is 2.46) Minced chicken 1k =6.90 Cheese (feta) 450gr= 6.00 Coca Cola 1.5lt= 1.77 Yogurt (3x cups of 200gr)= 3,72 Butter 250gr= 3,18 Tomatoes 1k= 1,60 cucumbers 1k= 0,64 Apples 1k = 2.00 Potatoes 1k = 0,88 Bread (one loaf)= 1.20 Chocolate bar 100gr = 1,58 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Up to this point we are at 34,67 euros. Lets add your fancy smansy ice cream and pelmeni -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ice Cream 650gr = 13,34 Ravioli 250 gr = 4,55 (Pelmeni do not exist in Greece and Im quite sure that your packs are much much bigger, so I replaced them with ravioli) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Grand total = 52,56 euros Im curious to see the total in other EU countries.

  29. I was in Russia in September 2022 and at that time I didn't see the changes in packages and rebranding of all these products (there are so many, maybe I didn't pay enough attention). Seems like it changed a lot the past months. Thanks for the video, this is better journalism than most mass medias do 😅 You should do the same in Crimea, too many europeans think the peninsula is in crisis.

  38. I just left Moscow last week after a 10-day visit there. I can attest to the same taste of Dobry Cola Zero to Coca-cola Zero. The McDonald's replacement Вкусно И Точка had French fries and burgers tastier than their counterparts in Hong Kong. I wouldn't call them Russian knock-offs, to my pleasant surprise after seeing some other Russia-focused YouTubers denouncing them, they are not cheap copies, Russian consumers still have access to the same things, just under different names. The supermarkets big and small were brightly lit and freshly stocked. I only noticed KFC and Puma stores were shut. As usual, a lot of research and references are packed into a 15-minute clip, a job well done.

  50. Im half Russian half German. I live my whole life in Germany. I remember this „energy/atmosphere“ of Russia going there. Even when the country was way poorer, the feeling of it was unmatched. Social interactions in Russia are real and they happen unconsciously. In my vacations there I would make friends without even trying (as a rather unsocial person). Germany has a lot to offer, but you wont find this energy on the street, especially in a 30k town. This town was named the most depressing town, yet it has more children playing outside than my 150k German town…
