  1. I want to live in that colorful school! How wonderful that music is a big part of the day. I love that the children are taught manners and thankfulness and order. It's good to see a male teacher as well. It seems all over the world, teachers are almost always female. (Especially for younger kids.) The custom of having older kids serve meals/clean up is genius. What a wonderful way to teach responsibility and serving others! The clean-a-holic in me loves the whole Japanese custom of removing shoes/different shoes for inside and outside, and for in the bathrooms. It must be tiring for the teachers to clean the whole school. But like everything, I suppose they get used to it. And since everything is so orderly and shoes are removed, I'm guessing it's manageable. Loved this video, thank you!
