Countries are balancing their relationship with China and the US. Most countries pursue economic relationship with China while pursuing security relationship with the US. This actually creating an unbalance relationship. What countries like Indonesia should pursue is to increase economic relationship with the US while increasing security relationship with China to balance the unbalance relationship that has been going on for a long time now.

@vikingspud plenty of countries are buying Chinese weapons, including Pakistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Algeria, Sudan, etc including Indonesia of course.
