About the same time Republicans took control of Congress for the first time in decades and Newt Gingrich became Speaker of the House. Clinton was President and the Republican donor class insisted that their bought and paid for partisans in the Congress begin their bogus Whitewater Investigations to get Clinton out of the White House. With no legitimate impeachable behavior by Clinton they were forced to resort to shall we say corrupt methods to impeach Clinton for lying about a blow job. So the real response to your comment is this. The Fox News Machine/Republican Party propaganda media spawned any number of clones including right wing talk radio personality Rush Limbaugh. And the Republican propaganda media has been spewing Republican partisan propaganda ever since. In the last decade or so Democrats have tried to compete with The Fox News Machine/Republican Party propaganda media with MSNBC but with mixed results. The Republican Party billionaire donor class has one agenda. To use the American economy for their personal financial enrichment. To enable that agenda they started with Reagan to codify IRS policy to shift the wealth of America to the Wall Street investor class. They began a process of robbing the US Treasury and issuing debt to fund the government. Reagan raised the debt 186%. Bush raised it 107%. They deregulated The Savings and Loan industry with disastrous results and pressured Clinton to sign off on their decades long goal of repeal of the Glass-Stegall Act a Great Depression era law intended to keep banks from gambling depositors money. This of course resulted in the 2008 Wall Street Financial and Insurance disaster that Obama inherited from George W. Bush. Trump has reinstated the exact same policies that caused the Savings and Loan disaster and the Wall Street Bank disaster. There is absolutely no comparison between the corruption of the Republican Party and the Democrat Party. No comparison. So people like you should pick a side if you have any beliefs worth fighting for and decide what kind of America you want. If a man as dishonest corrupt immoral unethical as Trump is your idea of the kind of man you want to lead America the kind of man you want your son to be than vote accordingly.
