According to IS Customs and Border Protection there were 220,063 arrests for illegal border crossings in March of 2000 and 104,344 arrests for illegal border crossings in June of 2019. Trump has corrupted the processing of asylum seekers intentionally to creat the crisis for his racist cult supporters. There are less than half as many people crossing illegally as 19 years ago.
