  4. The cfm needed to 'air condition' an open trench network is .... pretty darn high. So no, this doesn't sound like a viable idea. However, trench networks could have underground bunkers attached to them where a positive air pressure might work to keep things out.

  11. It has been proven actually. But you should excuse the media, tear gas is a chemical weapon... I don't think 'the west' will respond to CS gas ( irritants )... however, any use of a chemical weapon which goes beyond an irritant would probably trigger a massive response. Imagine a large chemical attack on a city, in order for the orcs to try and 'force a surrender' like the US did in WWII but with a chemical attack instead of nuclear. That's the kind of attack NATO / US has already stated would trigger a massive retaliation ( basically the US said that if Russia were to do so, they would remove Russia's capability to ever do it again ).
