  1. What I find remarkable is how well stocked the shelves are in all Russian supermarkets. I live in London and I often find shelves empty or products I want not available. And this is not because there's a genuine shortage of something, they simply cannot be bothered to re-stock the shelves here in London. There's really poor quality of service everywhere in the UK. And in London in particular, with prices that are many times higher than in Russia they cannot even re-stock the shelves for customers. I am not even talking about awful quality of vegetables. Unless you go to really expensive supermarkets, it is not unusual to see empty shelves, messy broken packages left on shelves. Mouldy vegetables. Shopping in London is a really disgusting experience. I try to do it as quickly as humanly possible.
