Wow, this is really amazing. We do have markets in London too, but they are really really small and everything there is even more expensive than in supermarkets. And the stalls look so well kept and beautiful in these Russian markets. I often cannot even find the very simple common white cabbage here in London. I kid you not, try finding a piece of white cabbage in London, I can guarantee you will struggle and end up paying such huge mark-up for it you'd think it was grown in and watered with gold. And when it comes to these amazing pickles and so many choices in Russia, here in London these things don't even exist. They only choice of pickles is a nasty vinegar based gherkins in glass containers. And they all taste the same with awful overdose of vinegar.
