  1. This is amazing! We officially now have food rationing in the UK. Shortages of tomatoes, salads, vegetables, eggs, etc. What you say is "condensed down" to a "small store" still looks like a giant superstore. I do not have anything like that in central London. Even the biggest stores in central London will look like a joke in comparison. You don't have fresh pizzas in London supermarkets. And you never have such vast selection of everything. London looks like a dwarf in comparison. I also need to mention that shops in London are often badly managed. Empty shelves is not unusual. Bad attitude and bad service is what UK is famous for. Now I understand why people in London actually do go to Russia to shop and bring bags of stuff back. Just like we did with France before brexit.

  2. Shopping in Russia is definitely a more enjoyable experience. In London shopping is so unpleasant. Even big stores will often have very narrow areas for walking and if there's someone with a trolley you literally cannot get through that entire area. And the shops are small and badly managed. I mentioned this before that shelves are often empty in London stores even when there's not real shortage. They just cannot be bothered to re-stock.. Awful attitude. UK is famous for its bad service.

  3. It bothers me here in London that we don't have such nice shops. And we have to travel to France across channel to shop for food and wine. Millions of people did shopping trips to France before brexit. Now it is more difficult and you have to go through customs with all that shopping. I imagine soon we will be all travelling to Russia to do shopping.

Things in Europe will be getting much much worse soon and your kind hospitality will come in very handy. Good thing that Russia is blessed with a lot of fertile land and kind people.

  6.  @rchird2010  Hi Rick, good to know at least in the big apple things are not being rationed just yet. We actually do have official food rationing now. You cannot get more than 1 pack of various things from eggs to tomatoes. We did in fact have vegetable deliveries via Air Cargo from Germany already. This was going on during summer time. I would not be surprised if we have to air lift food from USA next. But apart from shortages prices on food in UK are astronomical and have increased by 50%-80% in some cases. Packages have shrunk. The only constant has been traditional bad British customer service.

And you hear on the news from BBC (the British Brainwashing Corporation) every day outright slander about Russia and Putin. They blame Putin for everything. Putin apparently now created shortages of tomatoes in London. LOL

  8.  @no_clot_shot1128  Yes, there was a shortage of eggs. They are also very very expensive. I can find eggs now, but there are still shortages. And yes, UK politicians are intellectually less capable than Gorillas or Chimpanzee. In fact if we had a Chimp in No 10, we'd most likely have a better policy and better life. They blame Putin not only for missing eggs, they blame Putin for bad weather and bad UK monetary policy. They print monkey 27x7 in London and say it's Putin's fault.

  10.  @Vladimir_55  UK is famous for bad attitude and bad quality of service. UK banks steal from their customers for years and only admit any fault when regulator intervenes. Electricity companies overcharge people in the UK and make billions in profits when families cannot pay their bills. Pensioners die from cold and hunger because their pensions are too small and there's never enough money for them, but there are always billions available for bombs and leaky air carriers. Don't expect much from "Great" Britain. It lost its greatness a long time ago.
