  4.  @Justineexy  Because lasers don't work in fog, rain, water, smoke...that's why they will never be primary armaments

  5.  @yelectric1893  Time per target and range can be as big as the powerplant lets it be. Bigger is always better with lasers.

  6.  @Justineexy  Because lasers cannot replace kinetic projectiles. They can supplement them, but until we figure out a way to break the laws of physics, lasers can't get through rain, fog, smoke, etc.
