  1.  @LDSG_A_Team  Jets are the outer layer of a hard kill system, followed by missiles, followed by screening ships CIWS, and then the capital ships' CIWS.

  2. There are no "modern battleships." The last battleship served in the Gulf War, before being decommissioned (again). Guided missile battlecruisers are currently the largest surface warships in use by any nation, and only Russia has one. A battleship is a large capital ship with large guns (typically 12" or larger) and armor designed to withstand guns of at least that size.
