  1. at what point does the death of our democracy become "official"? when immigrants are used by "for profit prisons" as a business model? when poor americans are routinely held in jail because they can't afford bail? when a drug war is designed to oppress it's citizens and control who can vote in it's elections? when voting rights are routinely gutted by stacked corporate courts? when constitutional protections against illegal search and seizure and state confiscation of property and cash are routinely ignored by the courts? when cruel and unusual punishment is routinely practiced by an increasing military/police state? when public education is routinely undermined, underfunded, and destroyed? when tax cuts for the wealthy are paid for by cuts to social programs that help the homeless, hungry, and unemployed? when government only represents the wealthy? when police are allowed to kill a citizen every 8 hours? when mass gun violence is ignored because your representatives has been bought? when corporate media ignores all of this, and fills time with the opinions of paid lobbyists, the politicians they've bought, and the corporations that pay for the message everyone hears? and a president of the united states who is more concerned about the profits of the war and weapons industry than he is about a free press, facts, science, accurate math, free speech, and a government accountable to ALL the people?
