i know a couple religious conservatives from alabama and they both angrily defend roy moore as a victim of liberals and lies, both are staunch anti-choice and both were happy about trump's decision to move the u.s. embassy to jerusalem, one exclaimed with joy that it'll "start a holy war". both are not stupid people, but they are clearly indoctrinated by their church and ultra right wing political views. moore is going to win (i really hope i'm dead wrong), these christian conservatives are motivated because it's being drummed up that god hating yankee agitators are in alabama again.
