  5. Except Ukraine has nothing to do with Russia except a common border. And Russia has already recognized Ukraine’s independence in the Budapest Memorandum. Nobody cares what Russia thinks now, Ukraine is a sovereign, independent nation and will remain that way. Russia will deplete their military and much of their young male population in a desperate attempt to retake Ukraine.
