Explosives WERE placed inside the tank - it’s called russian artillery. The ring of artillery is right underneath the turret, with an auto-loader so if Ukraine hits the tank in just the right place, they can detonate the entire load at once and you get this type of explosion with the turret flying off. You must be new here, this is a huge flaw in russian tank design… the CIA calls it the “jack-in-the-box” effect, and has been for many years.

@MichaelHartzel Yes it is - they’re leaving bodies in the field to rot, so they don’t have to pay the relatives.

@johnm7267 Sorry if these videos hurt your feelings, russian… but it is the state of the war and you guys have lost so much equipment and personnel… the A8 you just lost was a huge blow to your military. You can’t make them anymore, your country was better off when it was the USSR but that will never happen again.
