Psychopathy in males is ten times more common than in females (may be due to genetic influences on the X chromosome), therefore if you can get competent females to fill enough positions and manage to have a balance of the sexes then there is a better chance of reducing the number of psychopaths in parliament. However if your selections are compromised in terms of their character and abilities and are not able to stand up to a psychopathic leadership group then it will serve no real social good at all.
