I thought about that too, but there is no evidence that he exercised the powers, otherwise those ministers would have found out about it. I blame him anyway as the buck stops at the top.

Yeah there could be something buried under a classified stamp that shows that we narrowly avoided WWIII too, the entire episode of history just doesn't make a lot of sense given what is publicly known and acknowledged. Same with how the USA is currently being run, that makes no sense at all as the president clearly isn't in charge.

@eb2505 I know there was that single intervention, but so far no evidence of anything else, Labor are in government now so if they can't find any real dirt it is just all hot air and distractions from the fact that Labor are as bad or worse.

@evelynmcmenamin4330 All of the major parties have that blood on their hands, but what do you expect when it is estimated that 1 in 5 politicians has psychopathic tendencies?

@eb2505 Whatever they do it is almost always some surface distraction to stop us noticing or asking about something else that is going on and the media just play along with it. It is only when the sociopaths do something really bad and the evidence gets into the public domain that we see a little circus that is actually about something real, but even then it is mostly a distraction about some individual's corruption when matters impacting every citizen are ignored.

Yeah but what percentage of people at the top of business and politics are psychopaths anyway? One estimate is 1 in every 5. That means 30 of the MP's in the house of reps have psychopathic tendencies, 30 of them! So why should we not assume that they are the ones in control of all of the major parties? BTW in the general community it is 1 in 100 so that means that even if they were "average" people at least two of them are, but research in the US has shown that politicians, and business people, are far from normal people in that regard.
