  1. If a big cyclone crosses the great dividing range in Queensland and dumps its load of water onto the catchment of the great artesian basin the result is a measurable drop in global sea levels. The incidence of such cyclones has diminished over the last decade or so, but this is cyclic so we can expect the pattern to reverse in the future. It isn't climate change it is normal climate oscillations.
