The floods near me did not drop even at low tide, who knows what will happen on the next high tide this evening.

@warmtea6801 We are fine here thanks, our property was selected specifically to have really good views, guaranteed access and to never flood. It is what I can see from here that is a worry, normally the floodplain drains in 24 hrs after a big rain event but this time the water has stayed and that does not bode well for other people downstream. i.e. My concern is for others.

@bogan-slayer7469 You can never actually point to anything I have written that confirms your delusional beliefs about what I think or what I wrote. The government is doing nothing to stop the flood (it is actually making it worse) or to stop people from being vulnerable, in fact the government caused the problem by allocating flood prone land for development. I realise that you have a low IQ and other issues around cognition but the fact that the government is the servant of the people should make the correct interpretation of their relationship with the people clear enough. They will do as they are told or be sacked and if they are not asked for help or advice then they have no mandate to impose it on their masters, the electorate. Only a totalitarian and deviant like you would fail to appreciate that, and we all know now what a deviant you are, or do you want me to start reminding everyone about your dirty little secrets again?
