That would be foolish as it will just prolong the problem, better to get all non vulnerable people out and about so they get and then get over the O variant within a single week, thereby building up a high level of herd immunity to resist further spread of the disease. It is no different from vaccinating everyone in a single week, if you had a vaccine that actually worked... The O variant is to covid what cowpox is to smallpox.
