  3. A first world capitalist society is founded on the state having the will and the authority to kill or incarcerate those who would inflict anarchy upon it. That is the ugly truth, if enough people decide to defy the rules you can expect chaos and destruction if you are not prepared to behave even worse than the anarchists in order to put down the rioting and looting. As for other forms of governance, they are even worse as they oppress the population as a matter of routine so that things rarely get to the point of a violent intervention being required. The alternative to intervention is to go woke and let the criminals and sociopaths run rampant, then distribute the economic cost (socialise the losses), but that still leaves the innocent locals at the epicenter of the trouble facing a lot of danger and economic losses that they have to carry on their own if they are not covered by insurance which is one mechanism under capitalism for distributing such costs across the entire economy.
