  1. Why is it that none of the major parties will talk about all of the housing that is sitting empty part or all of the time? You can set up a scam where you buy a place using your personal self managed super fund and then put it up on airbnb, then your friends do the same and you have an agreement to stay in their place when you travel so in the end your travel accomodation costs end up in your superannuation fund and if you are doubly tricky you declare it as a business trip and get the tax break on that. How is that even remotely appropriate and why does the government not free up the underutilised real estate that already exists?

  3. @Saint Chester That is not the same as the exact scam I described, do you understand how there is a loophole where you can rent a mate's place and you do the same for him then you both just end up having that money go into your super fund tax free?
