  1. Yes it is sad, it is even sadder that Russia sees itself as not part of the West given the cultural links as well as the familial ones. But I do understand how they are repulsed by the more recent wokness insanity. I had great hopes for Russia once communism fell, but no the psychopaths that run the world decided to keep us all divided and fighting each other.

  3.  @mk1479  Everyone is related in some way, I am related to Putin distantly and even more closely to Nicholas II, Tsar of Russia, who is my second cousin twice removed's husband's sister's husband's first cousin once removed's ex-partner's niece's husband.
