That is debatable as the difference between died with covid and died from covid drops the death estimate a lot. Letting the disease get into the homes where people on average only last 12 months was no accident, it helped to scare the crap out of people without harming productive people. How cynical and evil is that? Furthermore you can't claim to have done anything concrete based on a guess from a group of people who have got every other estimate they have made wrong when it was actually testable. The truth is that the pseudo mandatory campaign has the cure taking out more people than illness has in Australia, so you can see why the government wants to distract you from that topic with this circus.
