Unless we are doing something such as creating films that are international box office successes we can't consider the arts sector to be productive at all, and that should guide the funding allocation.

@creditelectric A relative of mine wrote the original book for Mad Max and it is a hugely popular series. But why does the community owe these other non productive artists a living when they could be working in the profitable parts of the arts sector if they just shelved their egos and learned to follow instructions from managers? Live entertainment can pay its own way too, if it is good enough, Shakespeare never got goverment handouts.

@shannyjackson9206 Like the billions that got blown on crappy chinese solar panels, yeah that was even worse, but waste is still waste. The arts need to be more accountable and profitable if they want handouts.
