Oh I know! She seems clueless to the fact that it is a bit late to be talking about local tourism when we need to stop nonessential travel to slow down the virus as much as possible. Her ideas would only work if the Fed gov had closed the national borders 100% a month ago. The silly chook seems to have forgotten how many Queenslanders are retired and so in the real danger zone for this virus.

It is a bit late to be considering the benefits of tourism within Australia's borders now that NSW and VIC probably have the start of an actual epidemic rather than mostly imported cases. It would have been a great idea if the national borders had been closed early and we did not have to be concerned about an epidemic on our continent. We had the perfect opportunity for total isolation as a nation and we lost it all for the false economy of the benefits of allowing some air travel. Now the best option we have is to stay at home and enroll in some online learning at local universities to make the most of our time in isolation.
