I've never seen a security guard who could manage a rabid terrorist with a bomb belt. Escalation is not a solution, you have to work at a cure for the root cause of political violence, and oppression isn't the solution either. The socio economic pyramid in the UK has become so tall and rickety that it is dangerously unstable. Happy people with lives full of benign purpose don't go around hurting others. Sure that is a lot easier to say than it is to manifest, but it is still the truth.
