Michael Wesley comes across as a left wing shill for globalism, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could kick him, which isn't far at all in a time of social distancing. As for Boris, he and the UK can't see what has happened as a negative, unless he dies, it is a case of needing to acquire a few scratches for people to see you as a hero and believe you really fought off the dragon, and so it is a bit early to call it anything let alone a 'a huge psychological blow for the UK'.
