Smoking kills twice as many people each year, and there is a vaccine for nicotine too, in fact if you smoke you have double the risk of serious illness from the other disease. This will lead to some bizarre statistics in the near future where people are less likely to die from COPD or lung cancer, but that will return to "normal" eventually. How weird and twisted is that? It is literally twice as dangerous based on the epidemiological data for both causes of death. They don't even want you publicly talking about that either.
