There are more than 150,000 Australians that are so close to death that anything could kill them at some point in 2021. This is a statistical matter of fact. The vaccine will not help them.

@dorianshadesofgray Mandatory medical procedures are a human rights violation. So is the restriction of travel in and out of your own country as you see fit.

@dorianshadesofgray Yes a test is the only sure way of telling your health status with a high probability, and vaccination certificates are easily obtained by fraudulent means.

@dorianshadesofgray That doesn't change the fact that it is a human rights violation. Things are headed in the wrong direction in that regard, you can't ignore each step because it is a little one, if they all head in the same direction.

@rickyramjet6056 Yes that is my point, even on a good day in a normal year we see 4 or 5 hundred Australians die.

@dorianshadesofgray Your rights as a visitor to another nation are not the same as your rights as a citizen at the border of your own country. Since when did the aircraft stopover nations in the middle east ever care about human rights anyway?

If I point out that more than 150,000 Australians will die in 2021, which is a matter of fact, and my comment gets deleted (again) it doesn't change a thing, those people will still die. This is based on UN estimates though so it could be wrong, they aren't exactly an accurate or reliable source of information these days are they? As a matter of fact the Australian per capita annual death rate was at its lowest in 2013 and is expected to rise until around 2035. This is a demographic consequence of the post WWII baby boom.
