The main way he gave them a blank cheque was by deliberately refusing to process their claims by underfunding the services. This results in them literally stuck in those hotels, unable to legally work or study and utterly dependent on the state. Had he actually worked to process the claims they’d either be kicked out if they were illegal, as you claim, as then its easy, or able to pay taxes and contribute.

@johnnorris1983 what is ‘respecting wealth’? Do you know that poorer people typically pay more into the tax system relative to the benefits they recieve from the state compared to rich people. Simple example of this, building national infrastructure. Its much cheap to build the roads around the slumy apartment buildings then for these large, spread out, low occupancy houses the rich have. On net those poor people are actually subsidising the rich, look into the facts on it.

Being independent actually increases the chance of other countries or blocs pushing the UK around as now we are so much weaker and dont have a veto.
