+2bRealist there have been more mass shootings in your country so far then there has been days in the year and that's not counting all the people that have been shot in non mass killings. all of your allies put together don't have the same number of people shot put together then the US does.
5
***** and the EU, Australia Japan and Canada combined equals over 300 million and they are all very very different countries with different cultures and we seem to be able to not shoot each other.
5
***** I don't need to break it down it's so obvious. if 2 people get into a fight and both are armed eventually someone will reach which then results in one or both dead. if neither is armed then no one gets shot.
4
***** but again combined every other country still has less people shot then in the US. Every one of your allies has sensible gun regulations in place and in every case they have incredibly few people killed by guns. Canada actually has the second worst gun crimes and do you want to know why that is?
3
***** little is spent on mental health and the fact that any drunken wife beater can walk into a bar with a concealed glock.
3
***** and of course those gangs buy guns legally because they are sold everywhere or they are stolen from the homes of people who bought them legally. If the homeowner didn't have a gun it wouldn't have been stolen right?

+Raymond Torres the left really needs to start doing ads like that and make the NRA squirm. :D
2
tyler111762 you don't need slander when the NRA does it all to themselves. Like the OP used as an example you could run that ad easily and use spooky music and mood lighting but you never said anything that was a lie so they couldn't sue.
2
leslie falconer but look at all of the other first world countries and not places where there is an active war zone. Of all the first world countries you are number one in murder by a landslide. it's not even a contest.
2
+F N no actually they don't seem to because not one of the people that own copious amounts of guns belong to a well regulated militia.
1
JerryAttrick SexPistol the founding fathers didn't want an organized army so they allowed the formation of state militia's to defend the territory but those militia's had to adhere to rules and regulations about keeping guns locked up when members weren't on patrol things like that. The formation of the USM made militia's obsolete. (except for the coast guard that is technically a militia.) Gun nuts always spout off the second part of the ammendment but you ignore the first part.

F N this is the same group that said you can buy politicians. Both those decisions are directly against the constitution and both were paid for by corporations.
1
2bRealist And I suggest you read up on your reality today and the fact that your second ammendment is obsolete with the formation of a standing army.

F N when both articles are in the same sentence I'm pretty confident in my interpretation. Funny how this was not an issue at all and the US had strong gun regulations back in the 50's and 60's then the NRA decided to promote gun manufacturers and now look at it. There was never any issue about the 2nd ammendment when it came to regulations until the NRA made it an issue so they could sell more guns.

F N I'm Canadian and I have no fear at all of being attacked and I certainly don't get super paranoid enough that I have to walk around my city with a bazooka (for defensive purposes of course) Your gun makes you paranoid and it makes you scared because you know that there might be someone with a bigger gun than yours but if no one is armed then there is no fear.
1
F N I'm sorry those things happened to you but as you even said the situation was resolved and no one got shot. The presence of a gun wouldn't have saved you in fact it would have put you in even worse danger.
1
JerryAttrick SexPistol most illegal weapons were stolen from houses where the owner legally bought them so if the first person didn't buy the gun then it couldn't have been stolen could it?
1
Murphyleo100 you attacked us first and we burned down your white house so how did your 2nd ammendment help you at all. After we crippled you we left because we didn't want to take you over. I've heard of revisionist history but that's literally the exact opposite of what happened.
1
tyler111762 when they say that people on terrorist watch lists should still be allowed to buy a gun yes they are.
