  1. Sad if Russia wanted to join Nato it had to be a Democracy and had to be voted by the People but RuZZia doesnt have elections like that back then and still is. I dont even think most RuZZians would have joined or voted for it because of all the propaganda that the West is their enemy back in the UDSSR.

There is no nato solider in ukraine fighting Russians there are officers that where stationed there after 2015 to train the Ukrainina Army and provide help in research the same that Russian Pilots trained Australian or French Pilots back in the day it has nothing to do with Ukraine wanting to join Nato prior to 2014 after RuZZia imvaded Crimea and led seperatist and secret RuZZian soliders into Ukriane to destable it and annex the other Regions to open a path to the Black Sea so RuZZia has a wider reach in there Navy
