@Rosie72196 the reason why america cant have free healthcare or free college is because it's not beneficial for corporations. If you didnt know by now america is all about profit and even if you had a progressive president the majority of the house and Senate are corrupt and will always give the corporations what they want for the right price. It's called political theater she's not doing anything special. They only record it to show to the American public to make us think that the politicians are fighting against corruption when actually they're doing the exact opposite. Literally both parties use this same tactic and thats how the corrupt politicians keep getting voted in because the public doesn't know whats going on when the camera goes off.

@Rosie72196 yes i agree we should vote out the corrupt politicians but AOC hasn't been there long enough to build a real political track record and this becomes a problem when ppl put new politicians on a pedestal too early without any real results and that's another reason corruption will continue in politics. As far as her talking tough well literally all politicians do that on both sides that's just political theater to make the public think that they're attacking corruption while simultaneously protecting it.

@bobyost42 lol AOC doesn't scare me because i know she's doing what she's told to do. She doesn't have the power to change anything in congress because she ONLY represents a district in NY so only the ppl in that spacific district will determine her fate if her incompetence starts to show. Ive seen plenty of politicians like AOC come in and then turn their back on the ppl because the power inflates their ego and they feel as if they don't have to listen to the ppl that elected them.

@hermenutic well the only ppl who live in the district that AOC represents should be the only ppl concerned about what she does. Im just saying you have to know the powers of certain politicians before you give them too much credit because you like them and they give you a boner.

@hermenutic yes but its up to the senator of your state to create a law to give you free or affordable healthcare not a congressperson. AOC doesn't have the power to give you that. In my state if you have a job and need assistance then you qualify for free healthcare for your children.
