  10. Bro this theatre always gets shot up even when it is closed and no one is inside. I have heard stories of people getting robbed at the BMO ATM next to it or the general parking lot area infront of food basics at night. Some lady got her purse snatched in broad daylight in the same parking lot that went viral recently. This area has million dollar homes now but the ghetto roots especially around the nearby apartment complexes is still strong.😂😂

  11. I was recently at a Cineplex movie theatre concession area and a small mini pizza combo with a medium drink cost me almost $20 alone. And there was a long ass line of people most were watching the new DiCaprio movie The Killers of the Flower Moon like my wife and I. This new Food Bank data really makes me think there are multiple worlds people in Toronto live in.

  12. My sidewalks in Scarborough along McNicoll Ave between Warden and Pharmacy have not been cleared. People including kids can’t walk on the sidewalks because of the snow so they are walking on the main roads. I am worried someone is going to get hit by a car or a truck. Then the City Politicians will be all over my neighbourhood offering thoughts and prayers.

  15. Olivia Chow’s Concession Speech from the 2014 Mayoral Election could basically be a Campaign Launch Speech in 2023. She was talking about affordable housing, fighting homelessness and a stronger TTC 9 years ago. She has led every poll since John Tory resigned because most voters know who she is and know what they can expect if she is Mayor. Olivia is a problem-solver and cares about all Torontonians not just the rich, homeowners and motorists but the working class, renters and TTC riders.

  20. Chow is going to win because the major issues in this mayoral by-election are almost identical to the major issues she campaigned on in 2014. She is going to make quite an impression in the first debate which is hosted at a food bank talking about affordability and poverty issues in the city and supporting vulnerable Torontonians. Mark Saunders chickened out of the debate because there is a session where other candidates can ask each other questions and it is almost a near 100% certainty someone will question his judgement as former Police Chief and a future Mayor because he let a licensed bar operate inside Toronto Police HQ the entire time he was there. A Senior officer recently got drunk at the bar and drove his police cruiser and got in an accident on the highway near the Scarborough-Pickering border.

  41. Doug Ford wants to open the Province’s largest LCBO at the current Ontario Science Centre site superceeding the Summerhill location. There are already condos planned for the parking lot and surrounding areas. The Science Centre being shutdown is a done deal. I said it will be replaced with an LCBO because that may be the only way to maintain part of the existing exterior and architecture of the current building. It is such a Doug Ford move to replace science with alcohol sales.😂😂

She said people need more mental health and shelter supports not more cops. Furey didn’t pay attention at all.
