  1. We pay the most Federal taxes of any city in this country. Our budget is bigger than the provinces of Saskatchewan or Manitoba alone. It is bigger than the 4 Atlantic Provinces combined. All 6 of those provinces I mentioned get equalization payments but Toronto doesn’t?

  2. No one the Province or the Feds are going to bailout Toronto because John Tory’s affair cost us millions in addition to the unnecessary by-election. The money we wasted on him could have directly been invested into the TTC.

  3. This interview is hilarious. Poilievre is a moron. The reporter asked if a Poilievre government would help cover Toronto’s $933M Budget shortfall? He just rambled and said he won’t give money to the cities but back to the people. So he basically endorsed Torontonians paying higher property taxes, rents, higher ttc fares and Green P parking fees with service reductions to cover the shortfall. Thanks for nothing Pierre.
