@S.W.A it is not that simple because the incumbent government decides what are confidence motions. Only budget bills are automatic confidence motions. So Trudeau’s government has to fall on the next budget vote to have an early election like former PM Joe Clark in 1979. I doubt that happens because Trudeau will stick ndp goodies like more expansion of $10/day childcare and free diabetes medication in the next budget things NDP voters support.😂😂

@S.W.A all this news does is lock Trudeau in as Liberal Leader in the next election if he stays past the next budget. I think if Liberals change leaders or hold a leadership race all the opposition parties would vote against the next budget to trigger an early election because if they wait longer a new Liberal Leader could improve the party’s chances in the next fixed election.😂😂
