  2. The Carbon Tax is like the ban on single use plastics. It alters behaviour because if you donā€™t change/adapt you pay more. Higher Gas Prices are suppose to convince more people to carpool, take public transit, bike or walk. Banning plastic bags is either going to force you to buy reusable bags and remember to bring them with you when you go shopping or you are going to pay to buy more bags or experience the inconvenience of carrying stuff in your bare hands after you leave the store.šŸ˜‚ I saw this guy on the TTC train once carrying like 2-3 brand new Gucci shirts with the tags on them bare hand. He probably spent like $200 or more on the clothes but didnā€™t have a bag or want to pay the $1 or w.e to buy a new reusable bag from the retailer to carry his stuff. šŸ˜‚
