If Poilievre & the Conservatives vote against this bill it will prove they are against the middle class and other Canadians working hard to join them. Poilievre will probably vote against it solely based on his personal interests. He and his wife own multiple investment & rental properties. He is richer than Trudeau and they both live in Government funded housing. 😂😂

@juve788 actually it is being spent on improving the country - $10/day childcare, public dental care, pharmacare, increasing military funding to approach the 2% of GDP NATO spending target and transfer payments to provinces and municipalities to fund affordable housing, public transit and other infrastructure.

@brianmcintyre8563 there is an exception of $250k before the capital gains inclusion rate increases from 50% to 2/3%. If your inheritance is greater than $250k you should pay more tax. And that exemption applies per person.

@yeshuapleaseprotectthechil2150 no he isn’t he doesn’t even own his own house. He has been a renter since he was elected an MP. Both he and Poilievre file annual financial disclosures - Poilievre is wealthier.
