  1. Gary Crawford was a Conservative star candidate that was leading the polls the weekend heading into the by-election he even got John Tory to do robo calls for him. Then the Scarborough RT located in the riding derailed on Tuesday and was shut down. Thousands of people who regularly use it and even live in the riding were stuffed in shuttle buses for their commute to work, school or shopping. Clearly enough of them showed up in a low turnout by-election to swing the race for the Liberals and send Doug Ford a message that you better fund the TTC adequately and build a rapid Scarborough busway to replace the RT before the new Scarborough Subway extension opens in 2030.😂

  3. Lol Conservatives were leading this race in polls released on the weekend. Then the Scarborough RT located in the riding derailed on Tuesday and shutdown. That event clearly swung the election result because most voters who actually voted blame Doug Ford and his underfunding of the TTC for the derailment 😂.
