  1. Woman made the comment, "Chivalry is dead!" My reply was, "So is purity." For men and women in the west. Chivalry was a code developed to promote the idea of protecting and supporting not just the weak, but the innocent and pure of this world. All tales of old the knight/warrior would face any trial confront any obstacle, face even the most evil villains or monsters for the purity and chastity of the lady in danger. Chivalry is dead because women sacrificed chastity and purity. Who would give up their life for the village whore who will betray them at the slightest hint of a better opportunity?
